our stay at this hostel was incredible. it exceeded our expectations after a previous stay in osaka. the location was perfect, close to main attractions and a subway station. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the private room had everything we needed. the large kitchen and free coffee and tea were a great bonus. overall, a fantastic experience.

The location of this hostel is excellent, as it is right next to Nagahoribashi metro station and very close to the city center. This makes it extremely convenient for exploring the city and accessing public transportation. The dorm rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed, offering individual lock boxes for storing valuables. The common area is also large and well-equipped, with a kitchen and comfortable seating. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms are spotless. this hostel offers great value for money and I will definitely consider staying here again.

One minor drawback mentioned in the reviews is the need to set up your own bed sheets and pillowcase upon arrival. While this may be a small inconvenience, it is worth noting for those who prefer a more hotel-like experience.

Stay Osaka Shinsaibashi was one of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed at. It was clean, comfy, and affordable. The staff were wonderful, welcoming us from the moment we walked in. The location was fabulous, with a short 3-minute walk to the closest station and within 10 minutes, we were by the canal. Next door, there was an excellent cat cafe that we highly recommend. The hostel also held fun events like a Korean dinner cooked by the staff, which was delicious and a great opportunity to meet other guests. The check-in process was uncomplicated, and the staff spoke English. We booked a room for four people, but since there were only two of us, we got a very large room, complete with a private sink. The sanitary facilities were clean, and there was a pet-friendly cat cafe and a supermarket nearby. The furnishings throughout the hostel were in excellent condition.

I recently stayed at The Stay Osaka Shinsaibashi for a weekend getaway with friends. The family room with a private bathroom was perfect for our group. It was spacious, clean, and had a cozy atmosphere. The unique "capsule"-style bunk beds were comfortable and each had its own reading light and USB port. There was also a convenient sofa-bed for us to relax and chat. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and there was a luggage storage area that was secure and convenient. The location was great too, with easy access to nearby attractions.

Stayed with my rowdy family. Loved the variety of activities, especially the bar for my solo travel nights! Staff kept sharing their priceless knowledge, made me feel really special. Great location for sightseeing, laundry, and a bar! Cons: Just one tiny elevator for the whole building, but hey, it kept life interesting!

Elevator wait times were frustrating.

Despite the negatives, there were a few things that I did like about the hotel. the privacy in the rooms was great. There was enough space at the foot of the bed to move around and change clothes comfortably. the staff were really approachable and accommodating. They were always willing to help and provide assistance whenever needed. Lastly, the location of the hotel was fantastic. It was conveniently located near multiple metro stations, making it easy to explore the city.

During my Christmas stay, there were a few things that I didn't quite like about the hotel. the pillow was way too firm for my liking.
