The location was perfect, just a short walk to the baths, and we loved the half-board meals. Don’t miss out on visiting Kumihama Country Club and Kazurano Beach if you're up for activities. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, really made us feel at home.

The lack of an elevator was a bit of a hassle, especially with our bags. Just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with heavy luggage.

The lack of an elevator is a drag!!! If you’re not light packers, be ready for some heavy lifting. The narrow walkways and low ceilings can be a bit claustrophobic, too!!!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Tsukimotoya Ryokan. We were warmly welcomed with tea and an orientation on the room and onsen pass. The meals were a culinary delight, particularly the kaiseki dinner, served by attentive staff who made us feel at home. The location was perfect, just a short walk from various onsens, enhancing our overall experience.

tsukimotoya ryokan is in the perfect location, just steps from the onsens. the room was spacious, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. we loved the traditional yukata and enjoyed soaking in the hot spring bath. the kaiseki dinner was absolutely amazing—so much food and very high quality!

A minor inconvenience was the shared bathrooms, which, although well-maintained, could be busy during peak hours.

It was just a nice choice for getting around the area in Toyooka with fantastic value. The onsen was a great relaxing experience after a day of exploring. Don’t hesitate to ask the staff for tips on local attractions.
