We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan, with clean and cozy rooms. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to shops and restaurants. The service was exceptional, with helpful and kind staff. The multi-course dinners were a highlight, with a helpful English list of courses. The communal bath was relaxing and would be perfect in the winter. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of options to try. a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The indoor location of the onsen/hot bath, which didn't offer a view of the garden.

I had a delightful stay at a historic and conveniently located hotel. The staff provided exceptional service and the breakfast buffet was filled with delicious delights. The compact twin room was efficient and the public bath was a relaxing experience. The hotel has a rich history and I can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an incredible time at this place! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the scenic hikes. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was a favorite among both us and our little one.

Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The rooms are truly cozy and comfortable. the facility offers a tasty breakfast buffet with a variety of homemade jams and roasted fish options. It is excellently located next to the famous Nakasendo Way, which is very convenient for tourists.

The hotel is located far away from the city center, requiring a taxi ride to get there. the carpet in the hallway looks old and faded, which makes the place seem outdated.
