village exceeded my expectations in kyoto. loved the public bath and comfy futon beds. staff was super helpful and the free shuttle was a bonus. overall, a fantastic stay.

Breakfast could use more variety.

I had a cozy winter stay at Village. Despite the cold weather outside, the room was warm and the bed was comfortable. the hotel's location is good for exploring Kyoto, with the train and bus stations nearby. if you plan to travel to other cities, be prepared for multiple train line changes.

The hotel is conveniently located near several convenience shops, making it easy to grab snacks or drinks. It is also close to Omiya train station, allowing for easy access to explore various attractions in Kyoto. Additionally, the hotel is situated near a local station, making it convenient to visit popular spots like Arashiyama.

One downside mentioned by a reviewer is that the hotel's bedding, particularly the futons, did not have a fresh scent and had a slight "lived-in" smell.

Lovely hotel with fabulous onsen and wonderful traditional breakfast. Traditional robes, slippers, and pyjamas provided, and very comfortable futons for sleeping. Family room easily accommodated the five of us. Located a little out of the way for JR Pass users, but easily accessible by subway. Free shuttle to Kyoto Station available with limited operating hours. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, including a 7-Eleven, small supermarket, Daiso department store, and McDonald's.

village kyoto exceeded my expectations during this budget stay. the location was perfect, making it easy to explore kyoto. the comfortable futons and clean rooms made for a pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel on Shijo-dori, just outside of Terminal 1 of Kansai International Airport. The location was incredibly convenient, with the Omiya underground station nearby and the subway station just a short walk away. It made it very easy for us to explore the city and get around. The staff were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were great, with very comfortable futon beds and three unfoldable sofas for extra seating. The attention to detail was noticeable, from the well-organized storage for the futon bedding to the tatami beds all laid out beautifully. We also appreciated having breakfast included in our rate, with a variety of options available including cold green tea. this hotel provided great value for money and we would highly recommend it.

This Japanese boutique hotel near Omiya Station is perfect for bigger groups of friends. The spacious and clean rooms, along with the helpful English-speaking staff, make for a comfortable stay. The hot spa pool is a great addition, and the nearby Family Mart store adds convenience. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and close proximity to popular attractions like Yasaka Shire, Nishiki Market, and Umeda station.
