I stayed at Lamphu House for five years now and it's my go-to hotel in Bangkok. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, temples, and nightlife. The WiFi signal is strong and available in the rooms. The addition of entry doors to the shared bathroom reduces noise. The staff is excellent and the Lamphu House Travel Agency is very helpful. There is baggage storage available and umbrellas to borrow on rainy days. Lamphu House offers great value, service, cleanliness, and an excellent location.

Great value for money in a great location. The location was fantastic, close to Khao San Road but still quiet. The breakfast included was delicious and the staff were friendly. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as it was situated in an alley behind the lively Soi Rambutrri, ensuring a peaceful and quiet environment. It was also conveniently close to the vibrant Khao San Road, allowing us to explore the lively nightlife. The room itself was basic but had all the amenities we needed, including a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a balcony. The hotel's courtyard was a lovely place to relax, with a coffee bar and restaurant offering great cappuccinos. The staff were friendly and helpful with our queries about transportation and the daily cleaning service and complimentary water bottles were a nice touch.

Finding the entrance to the hotel can be a bit challenging as the sign is hidden, causing us to walk past it multiple times.

To get anywhere outside of the tourist attractions near the guesthouse can be challenging due to the unreliable bus schedule. Taxis can become quite expensive for transportation to other parts of the city.
