The ongoing construction was disruptive and caused noise during the day.

The hotel had a beautiful reception area and art displays. It also had lovely gardens and great amenities such as cafes and shops. the room was spacious and had a heater in the bathroom which was a nice touch. the futon was comfortable, and the duvets were warm. Service was excellent and staff were helpful.

The hotel was a bit older and not as clean as other hotels in Japan. the building had a smell of smoke in the room, and some areas needed to be updated with newer carpet and flooring.
