As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the fantastic grounds and scenery, great starting point for the Hakone loop, and the provided Japanese robes and slippers for the onsen.

We enjoyed the complimentary shuttle service to the nearby attractions and the free hot springs bath at the hotel. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding nature, with stunning views of the lake and easy access to transport. Another great aspect was the tea service at the bar, which we found truly relaxing.

The breakfast service was also inadequate, with limited options and slow service. we were not impressed with the accommodations and felt the hotel did not meet our expectations.

Large garden, well-maintained. Clean rooms, well-stocked with amenities. Excellent dinner options. Half-board fare has good quality and presentation. Hot spring bath is relaxing. Free shuttle to nearby port for convenient access to buses.

The hotel is situated in a picturesque location, right by the lake, offering stunning views. The rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms and some even have balconies overlooking Mt. Fuji. The staff provides excellent service, making check-in and check-out a breeze. There are two onsite restaurants, one Japanese and one French, although they can be quite expensive. If you prefer something more affordable, you can find convenience stores in Motohakone where you can stock up on snacks and essentials.

The breakfast options at the hotel are limited and of poor quality for the price you pay.
