I stayed for three wonderful nights seeking a serene retreat and was not disappointed. the onsen was a highlight, especially under the starry sky at night. My spacious room transformed beautifully in the evening, making for a cozy sleeping area. the daily-changing dinner and breakfast menus, featuring delicious wagyu, were a culinary delight and felt heartfelt in every bite. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the location offered easy access to local attractions, including a charming walk to the famous snow monkeys.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful ryokan in the Yudanaka area. The hotel staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. We were picked up from the train station and received a warm welcome upon arrival. Our room was spacious and had both tatami and western-style beds. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to try. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot spring bath, with indoor and outdoor pools surrounded by stunning garden scenery. We enjoyed a relaxing soak and even had the opportunity to switch between the men's and women's baths. The hotel also had a shuttle service to the snow monkeys, which was a convenient bonus.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful traditional hotel. The staff were extremely kind and even though they didn't speak English very well, they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The hotel itself was tastefully decorated and very clean, creating a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the onsen, which was simply amazing and provided a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The Japanese-style breakfast and dinner that were included in my rate were top-notch and gave me a unique culinary experience.

While the cultural experience was enjoyable, the food options were limited and may not be suitable for picky eaters. the shuttle service to the tourist attraction had a limited schedule, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience.
