We had a wonderful time at this traditional ryokan nestled near small old temples where we could enjoy leisurely walks. The surrounding gardens provided a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a true ryokan experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. it was a delightful stay by nature.

The vending machines and front counter near our room made the environment quite noisy at times.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel that truly immersed me in the beauty of Kyoto. The location, set on top of a hill, provided breathtaking views of the surrounding nature and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful and the attention to detail in the rooms, with a big table and a private bathroom, was impressive. The breakfast, included in the price, was a delightful start to the day.

The hot springs at the hotel were very relaxing and made for the perfect way to unwind over Thanksgiving. the location of the hotel was also ideal as it was situated in a quiet area with easy access to nearby temples and restaurants.

The shuttle service to the hotel from the nearest bus stop was not very convenient, especially since we did not have access to a Japanese phone number or internet connection. although the meals were tasty, the schedule for breakfast and dinner was fairly strict and did not offer much flexibility for guests who wanted to sleep in or stay out late exploring the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this authentic Japanese onsen. The outdoor onsen was a highlight, and the traditional Japanese robes made us feel immersed in the culture. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, offering great value for money. Despite a scenic walk to the bus terminal, we loved the rural location and the opportunity to visit nearby temples. we highly recommend this hotel for an authentic Japanese experience.
