I recently stayed at the Merton hotel for a few nights and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The hotel staff were incredibly efficient and friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with special mention to the well-appointed bathroom. The Belvedere dining room offered a fantastic buffet-style dinner with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's pool area was a great fit for all ages, and the gym was well-equipped. The entertainment team in the Star room did an amazing job keeping the energy high and creating a fun atmosphere, even when there were only a few guests present.

Noise from bar area disrupted sleep.

the buffet breakfast and evening meals were excellent, with a wide selection and high-quality food. the pool was a highlight for my grandchildren and the whole family. the hotel was larger than expected, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Special touches like a pianist in the Lobby Bar added a nice touch to the evenings.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the city center and other attractions. the swimming pool was excellent, very clean and well-maintained. I also enjoyed the entertainment provided, it was lively and enjoyable.

The service at the poolside snack bar was often slow, especially during lunchtime when more staff is needed. the process of getting towels at the pool was more complicated than it needed to be.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, yet walking distance to bus stops and town centre. the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. the room boasted a lovely sea view. We also enjoyed the excellent swimming pool, especially the flow rider, which was a great value for money.

while the swimming pool was excellent, the spa pool didn't meet our expectations as it was just the swimming pool water recycled around.

The staff were friendly and the basic amenities were all in good condition. Plus, the rooms were spacious, with a separate bedroom for kids, and some even boasted a great view of the water. A fan was provided to combat the lack of air conditioning, which was the only downside. it was a fantastic experience and the fact that breakfast was included was a bonus.
