I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, with beautiful landscaped gardens and elegant colonial architecture. The spacious riverside cottages had a touch of old world charm, especially with the fireplace lit up in the chilly evenings. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the staff were always polite and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel facilities were state-of-the-art. I also enjoyed exploring the surroundings on segways, which added an extra element of fun to my stay.

The incredible views of Mount Kenya and the beautiful grounds to walk around were definitely the highlight of our new year stay. We enjoyed taking part in various activities such as horse riding and walking the dogs, which gave us a unique experience of being close to the animals. Additionally, the food options were amazing with a wide variety to choose from.

One downside was the early closing time for breakfast at 9.30 am, which made it difficult for us to relax and enjoy a leisurely morning. We also found that certain food items ran out quickly during the buffet, and some dishes were not up to par in terms of quality.

The hotel has a variety of activities such as a maze, swimming pool, and games, all free of charge. There are also organized trips available for an additional fee. The hotel is located next to an animal orphanage, which is great for animal lovers. The hotel offers horseback safaris and game drives that allow guests to see wildlife up close.
