The room was a great size for me, my husband, and our 2 little kids. We had room 4, which is right next to the little wooded backyard, where a herd of deer live. My kids loved seeing the deer every morning and evening. Mark, the owner, even gave us a big bucket of corn to feed the deer, which was one of the highlights of the trip. They also have a yard with chickens, that we never heard, but my kids enjoyed watching and talking to them. The location is right over the hill from a boat ramp and really close to most of the restaurants and other beaches. The kitchenette had just the right amount of supplies for us. The bathroom and the room as a whole was beautifully decorated and very clean. We never heard the upstairs or next room neighbors so the rooms are pretty soundproofed. We plan on staying at this hotel every time we come to Canyon Lake and will be requesting room 4, always!

The service at the Lodge was top-notch and the owners were caring and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the ability to make our own meals with the kitchenette and BBQ pits. Despite it being Memorial Day weekend, it was still serene and relaxing. we had a great experience at the Holiday Lodge On.

Restrictions: Although the room was cozy and comfortable, the beds were full size and not suitable for couples or adults. The comforter was too big for the bed and made it difficult to move around.
