The pool was dope, and the chill vibes in the lounging areas were perfect for our squad. the location is mad cool, close to the beach and smack dab in the heart of the old town.

We were wishing for more turn-up spots within the hotel for young peeps like us.

we had a lovely stay at jannat house. the staff were brilliant and helped arrange a birthday surprise for us. the pool was clean and refreshing, adding to our relaxing experience. the traditional Swahili architecture, with coral walls and carved doors, combined with the cozy outdoor spaces filled with Swahili furniture, created a charming atmosphere. the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to start the day off right. overall, the staff, especially Ahmed, were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Beautiful and Relaxing Gem in Lamu

The traditional Swahili house with its coral walls, carved doors, and thatched roof exudes charm, making it feel like a home away from home. the staff goes above and beyond, arranging special surprises and ensuring a pleasant stay. the clean and inviting pool, along with the delicious breakfast and cozy lounging areas, contribute to a truly relaxing experience in the heart of Lamu. Room maintenance and providing essential amenities like water bottles can be improved for a more seamless stay.

Our room was initially downgraded, lacking a balcony and dealing with a bug issue but were later relocated to a room with the promised balcony after two nights. the old town's maze-like layout made finding the hotel challenging.

During my stay at this hotel, I found the cleanliness to be impeccable, with the hotel facilities well-maintained. the location in a super friendly neighborhood, in the heart of this old town, was perfect for exploring all the attractions, as it was very close to the seafront. the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my visit.
