The location was great, with plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. The room had underfloor heating, making it warm and cosy during the winter. The free breakfast had a variety of options, including fresh waffles and boiled eggs. There was also a cute cat in the hostel. Highly recommended!

Great location in Insadong, felt safe walking back at midnight. Room had a great view, owner gave clear instructions. Owner was kind and easy to communicate with in English. Rooftop with a nice view and hammock. Had a universal charger in the room.

This hostel is in a great area, close to metro links and within walking distance of many attractions. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a fridge, TV, free wifi, air conditioning, plug socket adapter. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even stored our bags for us when we arrived early and left late. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options including bread, eggs, milk, cereal. the location and amenities make this a great choice for budget travelers.

Some guests mentioned that the beds were uncomfortable.

The staff went out of their way to help and advise. Great value with clean rooms and a window for circulation. Breakfast includes salad, juice, banana, boiled egg, milk, coffee. Strategic location near bus stop, subway, restaurants, market, and convenience stores. The receptionist recommended good vegetarian restaurants and spoke excellent English. Free laundry and wide hanging space on the balcony. Clean towels and daily bed sheet changes. Convenient water dispenser available for guests.

Felt incredibly welcome, nothing to complain about.

Our stay at Insadong was amazing! The location was perfect, with the hostel situated right next to the station and surrounded by plenty of cafes and tourist spots. The breakfast provided was delicious and gave the place a warm, homey atmosphere. We even made some new friends over breakfast in the cozy kitchen area. Despite the thin walls, the staff were quick to address any noise issues, showing their commitment to ensuring a pleasant stay. we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hostel for its convenient location and friendly ambiance.

We had a great stay at Insadong Hostel. the host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed right from the start. the location of the hostel was perfect for exploring the city as it was near shopping streets and both bus and subway stops. We were able to easily walk to Bukchon village and one of the palaces. the breakfast prepared by the host was delicious and there were plenty of food options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the Jeju mandarin drink that was available alongside the coffee and tea. the kitchen was well-stocked, and the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. the small lockers provided added security, and the daily towel change was a nice touch. the separate bathroom was also clean, and bathroom amenities were provided.
