The location of the hostel might not be in the city center, but this is not a major issue as the restaurant and tuktuk service make transportation easy.

Mind-blowing views of the Mekong River and stunning mountains, super comfy beds, nice showers, friendly staff, and a short walk to delicious restaurants. A generous man even drove me to a pharmacy after my scooter accident. Free shuttle to and from the pier, and a tasty breakfast provided. Free Wi-Fi, parking available, no pets allowed, and non-smoking rooms.

As youngsters, we loved the free shuttle service to and from the pier. The staff was well-organized and made our transition to and from Luang Prabang on the slow boat smooth and easy. The dorms were spacious and clean, with single beds and a shared bathroom. The added amenities like shampoo, shower gel, and toilet paper were a nice touch. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of water in our bed. The on-site restaurant was convenient, but we enjoyed walking to the nearby town for meals and shopping. The location offered stunning views of the Mekong River and surrounding mountains, and the value for money was excellent. we had a great experience and would highly recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Pakbeng. The staff picked me up from the pier, which was a nice touch. They were also quick to resolve any issues with the sheets. The hotel had comfortable rooms with warm showers. The views of the Mekong river were beautiful, and I really enjoyed the complimentary bottle of water, soap, and towel. The hotel also had a restaurant with cheap food options for dinner and breakfast. They even offered packed lunches for the second day. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, and friendly staff made my stay enjoyable.

We had a great stay at this hostel while transiting on the slow boat. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. the owners provided free pickup and drop-off to the boat pier, and even brought us early so we could get good seats on the boat. the hostel also has a restaurant on site, where we ordered a delicious take-away lunch for our second day on the boat. We also enjoyed the stunning views of the Mekong River and the surrounding mountains.
