We stayed in a spacious and fully self-contained one-bedroom apartment at Somerset. The rooms were big and had a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining area, and balcony. The complex also had excellent amenities including a great pool, gym, sauna, and Jacuzzi. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a laundry facility on-site. We also loved the convenience of having a Korean grocery store and a great Korean chicken restaurant nearby.

Somerset was just as great as before, with no changes that I noticed. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking to stay within a 10-minute walk of wonderful restaurants along the Mekong. The pool area was also lovely, and the hotel is conveniently located near the city center, with the presidential palace only a 25-minute walk away. There's even a little supermarket just around the corner, close to the Crown Plaza hotel. I usually skip breakfast here and instead enjoy the charming eateries near the Mekong, like Danno's. On lazy evenings or during rainy weather, I sometimes ordered food through delivery services. The staff were helpful, and the room had a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment complex also had a convenient laundry facility, a great pool, and a pretty good gym, as well as a sauna and Jacuzzi. There's even a Korean grocery store nearby and a fantastic Korean chicken restaurant, which came in handy.
