The hotel is located on top of a hill, offering stunning views of the sea and easy access to the port. The rooms are spacious and cool, providing a comfortable stay for guests. The breakfast is excellent, with a good selection of cold foods and the option to have eggs cooked to order. The staff is polite, professional, and always willing to help. Guests without a car can take advantage of the free shuttle service to the harbor and nearby beaches.

The shower door in the bathroom is a bit shabby.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Castello Monticello, located just up the hill from Giglio Porto, provided a perfect location with stunning views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The staff were incredibly helpful and the hotel shuttle made it convenient to explore nearby beaches and enjoy dinners at the port. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed the breakfast with its beautiful view and good selection of food.

The hotel lacked in terms of room amenities and décor, appearing outdated and worn. the room was small and cramped, with a noisy air conditioning unit that made it difficult to sleep.

I got great value for my money at Hotel Castello Monticello - the room was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The location was perfect, with a nice sea view and a shuttle service to the nearby beaches.

The morning meal could be improved with some additional outdoor seating options.
