We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, right on the banks of the Mekong River. We were lucky enough to have a room facing the river and woke up to breathtaking sunrises every day. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the lush greenery, birds, and even buffalos that occasionally roamed the area. The hotel grounds were sprawling and beautifully manicured, with two lovely swimming pools that offered a fantastic view of the river. We also loved the fact that we could freely use the bicycles provided by the hotel to explore the nearby village and interact with the locals. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a range of options and eggs cooked to our preference. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered a great selection of Asian and Western dishes, as well as fantastic cocktails. Additionally, we treated ourselves to a relaxing massage at the hotel and enjoyed walking to the Mekong riverbank in the evenings to watch the fishermen end their day as the sun set.

Attentive Staff – the staff at the resort were excellent and very attentive. It was a pleasant surprise to find that some of them even spoke English, which is quite rare in this part of Laos. Their willingness to help and friendly demeanor made our stay more enjoyable.

Overrated Rooms – the rooms were hyped up to be luxurious, but the reality was disappointing. the lighting was poor, especially for reading in bed.

The staff here are exceptional, providing excellent service from the front of house to the restaurant staff and room cleaners. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, offering a refreshing welcome drink and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were well-appointed with all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a terrace. The swimming pools were a highlight, especially the infinity pool with its panoramic views. We also enjoyed spending time in the sun loungers in the sun terrace and exploring the beautiful garden area. the service, location, and facilities at this hotel were top-notch.

The hotel's riverside location was beautiful and peaceful. The bungalows were spacious and well-appointed, with great river views from the balcony. The restaurant had a good menu offering a variety of dishes.

The Wi-Fi was unreliable and the signal strength was poor in our room. Also, the selection of fruit at breakfast was limited.

We had a truly relaxing stay at a tranquil and restful resort. Our room had breathtaking river views, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea while watching the fishermen. The well-kept grounds and swimming pools were immaculate. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices to start our day. Despite some slight drawbacks such as the distance from town and average food, we still highly recommend this hotel. we had a wonderful experience at the River Resort.
