Perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. Lots of restaurants around. The French seafood restaurant next door has excellent service and food. The hotel room is basic but sufficient for a light sleeper. Good WIFI and breakfast with delicious espresso.

The hotel is overpriced for its basic amenities and lack of parking and elevators - guests have to trek a considerable distance to public parking if they arrive by car.

I recently stayed at Hotel Vauban for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the attractions. The walls may be a bit thin, so sensitive sleepers might need earplugs. Unfortunately, there was no parking on site, and parking in the city tends to be quite expensive.
