Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel in North Macedonia. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and offering breathtaking views. The restaurant had a beautiful view of the canyon, and the food was delicious. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the boat ride to the cave and the hiking trails. It was a great place to relax and connect with nature.

The surrounding area could use better maintenance.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The attention to detail was evident from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location of the hotel, right on the canyon, provided breathtaking views from the restaurant and allowed for easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. The rooms were comfortable with a very comfy bed and had all the basic amenities I needed. The included breakfast was a great start to the day, with a good selection of food to choose from.

Beautiful location! I had a fantastic stay at Canyon Matka. The stunning landscape surrounding the hotel made up for any minor shortcomings. The activities like kayaking and boat riding were a real highlight. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing experience staying at a hotel tucked away in a stunning canyon. the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings brought peace to our souls and hearts. the hotel staff was friendly and always had a smile on their faces. They even went above and beyond, accommodating our late arrival and ensuring the night guard was there to assist us. the breakfast offered a variety of options including sausages, eggs, fruits, juice, and coffee. the room, although small, was clean and cozy, with a comfortable double bed. We also appreciated the bottle of wine we received at check-in.

Great location next to the beautiful Matka Canyon, with amazing views from the restaurant. Delicious food, especially the trout, and a good variety for breakfast. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Plenty of activities available to keep you entertained. Friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel at home.

Had a great Xmas break at a hotel surrounded by beautiful landscape. Staff offered complimentary wine and canoeing experience which was fantastic. the location of the hotel was perfect, right by the lake, with scenic views everywhere. the cozy rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The restaurant prices were very high, and the food quality wasn't incredible. We found better value for money at restaurants nearby.

If you're looking for some authentic Macedonian cuisine, you can find other local restaurants nearby that offer delicious food at more affordable prices. you'll have the opportunity to dine directly in the lake or close to the earlier restaurants. The rooms are clean, and the staff provides excellent service. The breakfast is satisfying, with a good variety of options. You can also enjoy the advantages of facilities such as an amazing view and a peaceful atmosphere.

There were some cables hanging in the room, which seemed to be from a renovation that was not yet finished.
