I recently stayed at this hotel in Kota Kinabalu, and it was hands down one of the best budget stays for the price I paid. the room was clean and cozy, with a touch of luxury that exceeded my expectations. the staff here were super friendly and made sure my stay was comfortable. the location was central, close to eateries and key attractions like Pasar Philippines and Gaya Street Sunday Market. I was impressed by how quickly they resolved any issues, like a leaking pipe, and how well they communicated with guests.

There are a couple of things that could be improved at this hotel. the noise levels, especially if you end up in a room close to the main entrance like I did, can be a bit disruptive at night.

I truly enjoyed my stay at A Residence @ Between Hilton & Cititel Hotel in Kota Kinabalu. the staff was exceptional and the room was luxurious. Small inconveniences like the lack of daily cleaning and occasional wifi disconnections were outweighed by the overall fantastic experience.

The beds were incredibly comfortable with four fluffy pillows, and the shower was powerful with modern touch switches. the design of the room was chic and modern, making for a relaxing city trip. the location was also great, within walking distance to multiple mini markets, food stalls, and restaurants.

The staircase leading up to the room was a bit daunting, especially at night when it was dark. the transparent shower in the room could be a bit awkward if you're traveling with friends or family.
