We got great value for our money at Carnarvon House - the room was tastefully furnished and the bed was super comfy. The central location was perfect, surrounded by heritage buildings and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The staff, especially Nicole, were extremely friendly and helpful.

The breakfast offerings could have been a little more varied.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional, with my room being simple yet comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, and I particularly enjoyed the serene courtyard. The location was perfect, as it was on a quiet street but close to everything I wanted to see in this city.

The old house had a nice vibe and the staff was friendly. the location was perfect, nestled in a quiet side street and within walking distance to all the important attractions and eateries. Plus, the breakfast served every day was delicious and satisfying.

It was extremely hard, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I would have preferred to have a private bathroom for more comfort and privacy.

The value for money at Carnarvon House was excellent, especially during the MCO period. The room in the new part of the hotel was quiet, clean and beautifully designed. The location was great, with plenty of eateries and attractions within walking distance. The staff, particularly Nicole, were friendly and helpful.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by providing a notice about self-service, including washing up cups and saucers at the coffee counter.

We had a fantastic stay at a centrally located property in George Town. Just a few minutes away from the main street, Carnarvon House offered beautifully decorated rooms that were both relaxing and comfortable. the staff were incredibly nice and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate any request. the breakfast was simply amazing, with delicious Chinese dishes cooked by the owner's mother, as well as healthy soups prepared by the son. the rooms were exactly as shown in the photos, with a very comfortable bed. we had a pleasant experience and highly recommend staying at this place.
