our recent stay in malacca was made even more enjoyable by the heeren straits hotel. the staff were welcoming and gave great advice on places to visit. the location was perfect, within easy walking distance to jonker street. the breakfast at the sister hotel was delicious.

Noisy floors and walls.

The hotel was located in the heart of Chinatown, perfect for exploring the city. the staff were friendly and always willing to help. the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. the bed was firm and comfortable for a good night's rest. the shower had great water pressure. the building, a renovated Peranakan house, was simply stunning.

The receptionist was not knowledgeable or helpful. We were not informed about the parking situation, resulting in a fine.

I recently stayed at Heeren Straits in Melaka for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's cosy ambience and clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds made for a very comfortable stay. Parking was also available at their sister hotel opposite, just ask the receptionist for directions. The location was perfect, with easy access to Jonker Street through the backgate near Backlane Coffee. The hotel's proximity to shopping spots meant we could easily drop off our purchases in the room and head back out. We also discovered a fantastic Nyonya beaded shop, Colour Beads, along the same street where they offered made-to-order items with doorstep delivery. The staff at Heeren Straits were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed their delicious breakfast with freshly brewed coffee and mouth-watering Chicken Rendang. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose Heeren Straits again in the future.

We had a great stay at this place! The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished with a nice wooden floor. The bathroom was also very clean and big. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the nearby restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The location of this hotel is perfect, as it is very close to the Jonker night market. We also loved the fact that this hotel had a kids corner where our kids could play. we had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious place to stay.

Being so close to the market, it's easy to immerse oneself in the lively atmosphere and experience the vibrant culture of the city. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, with comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast offers a good selection of dishes to start the day off right.

The noise from the courtyard can be quite bothersome, especially if you're staying on the top floor.
