The Jesselton Hotel in Kota Kinabalu is a gem. From the friendly and helpful staff to the strategic location, everything about this hotel made my stay enjoyable. The hotel's historic value and authentic ambiance added to the overall experience. The comfortable beds, good air-conditioning, and hot water made for a great night's sleep. The hotel's location near cafes and restaurants, as well as popular markets, was a definite plus. The women receptionists were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my safety and satisfaction.

The location of this hotel is excellent, with many restaurants and local markets right outside the door. It is also within walking distance to the KK Waterfront and all the seafood and shopping centers. The rooms were very pleasant, with good facilities including a safe and a nice bathroom complete with toiletries. The breakfast, supplied by an attached cafe, was nice and set us up for the day exploring.

All was satisfactory.

Convenient location with Sunday market, Jetty, and coffee shops nearby. Strong wifi. Great staff. Plenty of eateries nearby. Comfortable rooms with good bedding and bathrooms.

I recently stayed at a hotel downtown in a prime location, just a few blocks from the waterfront and surrounded by all the attractions that Kota Kinabalu has to offer. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, with rooms decorated in a beautiful plantation style that truly reflected the heritage of the area. My twin room was comfortable and equipped with basic amenities such as air conditioning and a safe, which was free to use. The staff provided excellent service and were friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the prices were reasonable and offered great value for money.

Everything was great, no improvements needed.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city center, making it easy to access all the tourist spots. It is near a shopping mall, so you can enjoy some retail therapy during your stay. Additionally, there are many good restaurants in the vicinity, offering plenty of dining options.

The wifi connection in the hotel can be unreliable at times.

We had a great stay at Jesselton Hotel. the interior of our room was exclusive and we felt lucky to have been upgraded. the location was perfect, within distance to key attractions and amenities. the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us. the KK people were also very friendly and welcoming.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Kota Kinabalu and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of all the nearby attractions. There were also banks, convenience stores, and pharmacies nearby, making it very convenient for any needs. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to any requests I had. The housekeeping service was also excellent, keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout my stay. The best part was the breakfast set, which was absolutely worth it. For a reasonable price, I received a glass of juice, freshly baked pastries, a choice of main dish, and a plate of fruits. It was a great way to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, value for money, and excellent service.
