During my recent stay at this hotel in George Town, I was impressed by the beautiful courtyard and living room areas that were impeccably designed and maintained. the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job keeping everything clean and tidy. the outdoor dining area was a lovely spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax. the location of the hotel is in a very tranquil area, away from the bustling tourist spots of Penang, making it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring.

One area for improvement could be the communication between the hotel staff and guests. Clearer information regarding room arrangements could prevent any confusion or inconvenience.

The location was super convenient, close to all the cool sights and yummy food spots. I loved the cozy room with its traditional decor and the helpful staff who gave great tips on local attractions.

The noise from the wooden floors was a bit much, especially with kids running around and loud music playing in the morning. It's hard to get a good night's sleep when the noise level is so high.

I got a room without a real window – not that you're gazing out much in Penang, right! At check-in, they tried to sneak in some extra fees, but I stood my ground. the ancient Asian vibe mixed with modern conveniences inside the hotel truly won me over. Plus, the dust-free room was a barefoot dream come true. Their courtyard setup made me feel like I was living the historical high life. And that tea and biscuits corner? Top-notch. we stayed at ke-lan-tan house and it was a fantastic value for money. our room was spacious with a lovely ensuite bathroom. the hosts were accommodating and the common area was beautifully decorated, perfect for relaxing. its central location in a quiet street allowed for easy access to all the main sights in town. complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits were a nice touch. cons: don't have any issues at all 😊.
