The Merton Hotel Ipoh exceeded our expectations with its stylish decor, comfortable beds, and excellent shower. The convenient location and great sound-proofing made for a peaceful stay. The staff's responsiveness and effective management resolved any concerns we had. a beautiful hotel with clean rooms and nice amenities.

The location of the hotel is away from the bustling city center, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Though there are limited food outlets around, the hotel is very close to the temples we wanted to see and only a short drive to Old town, Ipoh for food hunting.

The customer service could be improved, as some guests mentioned poor communication with the front desk and a lack of housekeeping without request.

The lobby had 5-star interior design. Good location with a refreshing view of the green mountain. Easy to find. Friendly and polite receptionist staff. Clean and spacious family room with strong water pressure in the shower.

My New Year stay was amazing! I received complimentary drinks and snacks upon check-in which was a lovely touch. the hotel's location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from all the popular tourist attractions and restaurants. the best aspect of my stay was the stunning rooftop view of the city, perfect for watching the fireworks on New Year's Eve.

The walls were quite thin, and the noise outside my room woke me up early in the morning. the breakfast options were limited, and not to my taste.

Additionally, it is in close proximity to the airport and the beautiful cave temples.
