If visiting glaciers or walking on them is on your Norway trip list, or if you need a place to stay on your journey, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY! Nice cottages with breathtaking views, including one of the glaciers. The superior cottage we booked accommodated 2 families with 1 kid each, with a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine in the bathroom. The owners were very friendly and gave us a lot of hints about the area. The view from our patio was amazing, with big rock walls, snow-capped peaks, and a great waterfall just behind the location. Don't forget to enjoy the Jacuzzi near the waterfall while sipping a glass of wine, it's magical!

The location was dope, surrounded by epic mountains. We went hiking and it was straight fire! The views were next level. We also did some fishing and boating and it was mad fun. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the host was chill. Highly recommend for a lit time with the squad.

The only thing we wished for was a sick party vibe. It would have been sick to have some late-night activities or events for the young crowd.

The owner was friendly and helpful, even coming twice to check on a stove issue. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and scenic experience.

I had a cozy and comfortable stay at a simple but spacious apartment close to Fjaerland. The apartment was well-equipped and had amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The bathroom was nice and warm, although the shower did not have a cabin. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and I had access to it for self-catering. The location next to a mountain lake was very tranquil and it was a great place to break up my travels from Hardangerfjord to Geirangerfjord. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

One minor complaint was that the shower in the bathroom did not have a cabin, so it caused the bathroom floor to get wet. Additionally, the view from the apartment towards the yard was of an old messy shed.

The cabin we stayed in was absolutely adorable. We loved having a comfortable couch right in front of the window, allowing us to take in the breathtaking view of the waterfall right outside our room. And that's not all - we could even catch a glimpse of a glacier just a short walk away. It was truly a winter wonderland experience.

While we had a fantastic time at the hotel, one downside was that there wasn't much to do in the evenings. As the hotel is located outside of a town, there weren't any nearby entertainment options.

Lunde Turiststasjon provided a peaceful serenity and a stunning location. the host shared fascinating stories about the family history of the station, which added to the overall experience. It would be great if they could create a booklet with photos that tell the story of generations living and working at the station. I will definitely recommend this property and hope to return for a longer cabin stay in the future. the cleanliness and well-equipped apartment exceeded my expectations, and the view of the fjords from my room was simply spectacular.
