We were captivated by the stunning river views and well-maintained gardens at Straits View Hotel Jb. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The flexible check-in and checkout times were a bonus. The staff, especially Mr. Zien on reception and Pauline at breakfast, were exceptional and made us feel welcome. The hotel offered good breakfast options and the WiFi connection was excellent. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel for a few days of peaceful relaxation.

The room had a coffee maker and a mini fridge, which was convenient. the view from the 1st-floor rooms provided a nice glimpse of the straits. the location was great with several attractions, hospitals, and restaurants nearby.

I had a surprisingly good stay at a hotel with a great rate! Although the hotel is quite old, I wasn't expecting much considering the price. The room felt a bit dated, but it was clean and the bed was huge. Breakfast was simple but tasty, especially the dry mee Siam and nasi lemak. The location was excellent, making it easy to travel to different parts of Johor. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for dinner. if you're looking for a value for money place to stay for the night, Straits View Hotel Jb is a good option.

The rooms are clean and come with free breakfast for two, which is a nice touch. The design of the hotel is superb, with a nice view of the garden and the straits.

Everything was perfect.

Liked the spacious rooms with high ceilings. the air conditioning was powerful and kept the room cool. the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even lending me money for a taxi fare. the hotel is conveniently located just a short taxi ride away from the center of town.

Disliked that the TV channels were not very clear. However, the view from the room made up for it.
