Very cosy and tidy. Great location and aircon. Good size rooms with storage and locker. Friendly staff and good facilities. Gorgeous view of the town.

The room was modern and clean, with a super comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the cleaning lady who saved my bed from a water bottle mishap. Each bed had its own light and socket, which was really convenient. The location was walking distance to all the main attractions in town.

The breakfast option could be more adventurous, but it was still decent.

We had a great experience at Tido Penang. the hostel offered a small but satisfying breakfast to start our day. Each floor had 4 restrooms for the convenience of the 20 people staying there. We also enjoyed the lounge on the top floor, which had a TV, books, and games for entertainment. the hostel was affordable and reasonably priced compared to others in the area. the cleanliness and design were excellent overall, except for the kitchen on the 5th floor. the location was also convenient as it was situated in the heritage zone, making it easy for us to explore other areas.

Can't fault the property in any way. 😉

As foreign tourists, we really appreciated the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They went above and beyond to give us great suggestions and help us navigate the city. The double room was clean and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The top floor lounge was a cool hangout spot with plenty of comfortable seating and a TV, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring.

the location was perfect, within walking distance to attractions, restaurants, and the bus stop. the dorm room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and provided towels. the shower gels in the bathroom were a nice touch. the hostel had a fantastic lounge on the 5th floor, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. It had ample seating, a computer, and a great view. the staff were friendly and helpful, available 24 hours a day. Tido Penang was a value for money choice for backpackers and friends traveling together.

Cleanliness could be improved, particularly in the toilets and sinks which were dirty throughout my stay. Despite a no smoking sign, there was a persistent smell of smoke coming from the toilets in the hallway.

the top floor of the hostel was my favorite spot, with comfortable sofas, a massive TV, and a beautiful view. the staff, especially the male staff, were very helpful and tried their best to assist us during our stay. Despite our room having some issues with the air conditioning, the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the hostel was commendable. the internet connection was also surprisingly decent, which is not always the case in Malaysia.
