I recently stayed at a small resort in Langkawi for five nights and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations. The breakfast at Villa Molek was fantastic with a wide variety of options to choose from including fresh fruit, croissants, eggs cooked to order, and even a special chicken curry and roti dish that my husband loved. The villa itself was spacious and well-equipped, with efficient and quiet air conditioning. I also enjoyed the unique "outside" toilet and shower. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and went out of their way to book a boat cruise and arrange transportation for us. I also had an amazing three and a half hour spa treatment at a reasonable price. The hotel's gift shop had great discounts and high-quality goods. I highly recommend Villa Molek for a luxurious and enjoyable stay.

We found the location of the hotel to be ideal, as it was directly on the beach. The convenience of being so close to the town centre and main shopping street was a huge plus. Additionally, the room and bathroom were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The friendly and helpful staff made our experience even more enjoyable. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. the breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of dishes. the location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was just a short walk away from the beach and some restaurants.

There was a lot of noise and dust around the hotel, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere that we were hoping for. some of the nearby buildings were being knocked down and rebuilt, which made the area look unkempt and unappealing.

We loved the freedom of self-catering and the comfort of the first-class accommodation. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great advice on local trips. The free massage was a highlight, as was the excellent Italian restaurant on-site. The location was ideal, with a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants, and both Tengah and Cenang beaches within easy reach.

We felt very welcome during our stay, with no reason to complain.

While the desk closes at 10 pm, it would be more convenient for business travelers if it were open 24 hours.
