I had an incredible stay at Star Hostel Taipei Main! The value for money was unbeatable, with a clean and comfy room, and the location was perfect, close to the MRT and Taipei Main station. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and were always there to help.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety.

The hostel is located in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of hole-in-the-wall restaurants, adding to the overall experience. It's also easy to get to the accommodation from the airport, thanks to its close proximity to the airport express. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with daily towel changes and great shower pressure. The friendly and helpful staff make the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast menu is diverse and delicious, with different options every day.

One of the toilet cubicles was choked during my stay in the dormitory.

Well-designed common area with attractive architecture. Clean kitchen and communal fridge. Secure individual rooms with clean bedding sheets. Highly recommend for Taipei.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the massive lounge room, perfect design, and good facilities. The hostel had a great vibe and reminded us of student life. We enjoyed having a cup of tea at the common area every night. The staff were welcoming and helpful, providing information about sightseeing. The hostel also had environmentally conscious practices, such as composting food and using worms to create nutritious soil.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The shower area was exceptionally clean and convenient, which I appreciate a lot when I travel. The common area and kitchen were beautifully designed, with lots of plants and large windows. I loved spending my mornings there, soaking up the sunlight. The staff were extremely helpful, and they even assisted me with booking restaurants and taxis. The attention to detail in this hostel is amazing, and the comforter on the bed was incredibly soft. this is one of the best places I've stayed in. The breakfast offered was also delicious.

The public space was absolutely amazing, one of the best I've seen. It was such a highlight of my trip. Also, the location was perfect, just a few steps away from the main transit hub, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff who spoke English fluently.

The breakfast service was from 8 to 10, which was a bit late if you needed to catch an early flight or train. However, they did provide some toast with jams, coffee, and tea.

Lovely hidden spot on the 4th and 5th floor in a nice and local area. Surrounded by many nice little restaurants. Taipei Main Station around the corner. Very cozy/chill vibe because of the interior and the staff.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the friendly staff at the hostel. They were always willing to help and provided great assistance in planning my trip. The place was also very clean and well-maintained, making my stay comfortable. the hostel had a great common area where I could relax and socialize with other guests.

One aspect that I disliked was the positioning of the double bed in the room. It was a bit inconvenient having to climb over my girlfriend to get in and out of bed.
