We recently stayed at a real gem of a boutique hotel. Avela Boutique was one of the best hotels we've stayed at in a long time. the small property with rooms surrounding a beautiful pool created a peaceful atmosphere. the rooms were simple yet well curated, and the entire hotel was modern and clean. the staff, especially the two people running the property, were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

It was great being away from the hustle and bustle of the town center, as it offered a more relaxed atmosphere. the rooms were cozy and conveniently located around the pool, creating a peaceful oasis. the 10-minute walk into town was easy, and the hotel even helped us book taxis. the menu at the restaurant was delicious, and overall, the service by the staff was excellent. Avela Boutique Hotel is definitely a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming boutique hotel in a peaceful location. The pool area was a highlight, with comfortable loungers and even hot tubs to relax in under the starry night sky. My room was tastefully designed, spacious, and provided a comfortable retreat. The breakfast and afternoon guacamole were both delicious, and the service throughout my stay was top-notch. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel.

The food was excellent, with a great variety available for every meal. The staff was also fantastic, always willing to help and even providing transportation when needed. The location was key, being close to the town but still away from all the noise and hustle. The pool and lounge area was a highlight, with comfortable loungers and hot tubs to relax in at night.

The wifi was a major downside, often unreliable and slow. the lack of music by the pool made it awkward as every conversation could be heard.

It is a bit of a walk to reach the main part of town, which may not be ideal for those who prefer to be closer to all the action.

Had a great New Year's stay at a modern hotel with lovely, roomy accommodations. Two complimentary perks included a well-appointed private pool and fantastic Italian pizza next door. the location was a plus with quick access to town, yet also remote enough to provide ample privacy and peace.

Occasional building noise from neighboring structures was the only downside, which is entirely beyond the hotel staff's control.

The staff was super friendly and the rooms were cozy. We loved chilling by the pool, it was like our own little oasis. And the best part? The hotel is just a short walk away from some sick surf spots and epic adventure activities like scuba diving, paddle-boarding, and more! We had a blast exploring Sayulita and the surrounding areas.

The only thing we wished for was a bit more of a lively atmosphere for young party-goers. It would've been awesome to have a cool hangout spot or a bar where we could meet other young travelers and have a good time.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, modern design of the hotel and the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the pool. We also enjoyed the convenience of being located just outside of the town center, allowing for a quieter and more relaxed experience.

While the hotel was nice, we did notice some minor wear and tear and the cleanliness could have been improved. The wifi was functional but not strong enough for multiple people to work remotely on video.
