I absolutely loved the variety at this hotel. The numerous restaurants and entertainment venues provided endless options for dining and fun. The beach was also stunning, with crystal clear waters and an abundance of beach chairs available.

This resort exceeded my expectations in many ways. the service was outstanding, with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. the location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and stunning views of the ocean. the amenities were top-notch, especially the spa and fitness facilities, which provided the perfect relaxation and wellness experience. I was impressed with the level of service and the beautiful surroundings of the resort.

Although there were many things to love about this resort, there were a few downsides. First, the noise level was quite high in certain areas, especially near the pool bar and snack bar.

The Barcelo Maya Beach resort was excellent. Crystal clear beaches, outstanding shows, and a great kids club. The pools were super nice and the staff were exceedingly nice. The premium package gave us free Wi-Fi and upgraded drinks. Check-in and check-out process was super easy.

The beach area was stunning, the pools were great with lots of activities, and the staff were warm and kind. The hotel facilities included a mini-mall, casino, disco, bowling alley, water park dolphinarium, and spa. The room was nice and comfortable, with a working air conditioner.

Could not be improved in any way.

The pools at Barcelo were absolutely amazing. We spent hours enjoying the refreshing water and soaking up the sun. The bar staff was so friendly and attentive, always ready with a delicious drink to quench our thirst. And let's not forget the beautiful beaches! It was a true paradise to relax on the soft sand and swim in the crystal-clear ocean. I highly recommend this resort for a perfect beach getaway.

The resort is well designed with multiple connected hotels. Staff is helpful and nice. The beach is clean and well equipped with lots of chairs. Many food options available all day. Nightly entertainment is good.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel. The beach was pristine with clean white sand and safe for walking. We even got to swim with turtles and explore beautiful reefs for snorkeling. The resort itself was fantastic with excellent food, cleanliness, and friendly people. The staff members that stood out to us were Gloria Mireya Canche, Sinai, Victor, Ruth Perez, Julien, and Rigoberto. We highly recommend tipping the hardworking staff who made our stay so amazing. we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The location of the resort, right by the beach, provided easy access to the beautiful sandy shores. The Italian restaurant in Maya mall offered delicious meals and the waterpark in the Palace resort was a great place for some fun in the sun. Additionally, the Brasserie, just a short walk away, provided a convenient option for dining.

The resort lacked activities and had no entertainment options after dark, leaving guests with limited options for nighttime fun.

Stayed 5 days and overall the experience was very good, enjoyed the beautiful beaches and the weather was ideal. the resort offered a variety of activities including a mini-mall, casino, and spa. Also enjoyed the top-notch beds and linens in our room, and the mini-bar was a nice touch.

The check-in process was slow and could be improved, also had to pay for wifi at an additional location which was inconvenient. the waiting areas were not air-conditioned and made the experience uncomfortable.

the Spa & wellness centre was a haven of relaxation, the treatments were exceptional, including the body scrub and massage, the staff were attentive yet discreet. the outdoor swimming pool was immaculate, equipped with sun loungers and a garden area. the entertainment was top-notch, with live shows and a night club. the restaurant had an outstanding breakfast, with special diet menus, and a snack bar. the private facilities, including treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, and waxing, pedicure.

The location of the hotel did not provide easy access to the beach, as there was no direct beachfront location. the hotel did provide a shuttle to the beachfront, which was a minor inconvenience.

I recently stayed at the Barcelo resort in the Mayan Riviera near Playa del Carmen. The resort features beautifully designed public areas and has a well-maintained beach with plenty of beach chairs. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there were numerous food options throughout the day, including a fantastic outdoor snack bar. The nightly entertainment was impressive, with professional performers and even a ballet performance. The gym and extensive pools were also enjoyable. The resort was welcoming to all kinds of visitors, making for a great overall experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The Barcelo is a huge resort with well-designed public areas. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The facilities were top-notch, and I especially enjoyed the pools and the beach. The location in Mexico was perfect, with calm seas and no local sellers or annoying people. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options. I was impressed with the hotel's cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff.
