We had an amazing stay at a well-maintained hostel in the heart of the historic center. the team at Barrio Downtown was incredibly friendly and helpful, always in a good mood. They organized various tours and events to keep us entertained, and the hostel even offered laundry service. the bathrooms were clean, and we appreciated the availability of a hairdryer. the sleeping pods were surprisingly spacious, with enough room to store our backpacks and belongings. We felt secure with the in-pod safe for our valuables. the common areas were great for meeting fellow travelers, and the hostel's WhatsApp group was a nice touch. it was a 10/10 experience.

As a solo traveler, I loved the vibrant and inviting atmosphere of the hostel. The staff were kind and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The bunk beds with private doors provided a sense of privacy when needed. The location was excellent, just a short walk away from the bustling city center. highly recommended!

The location is fabulous, and the breakfast is delish. Oh, and who wouldn't love playing table tennis and darts at a hostel? So fancy!

In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that kept us fuelled for the day. the hostel had great facilities and was a fantastic base for exploring the city.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The bunks were like little cabins, complete with shelves and a mini-closet. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and bedsheets was impeccable. The location of the hostel in a busy neighborhood, close to the historic old town, was perfect. Transportation was easily accessible from this central location. The hotel facilities were beautiful and inviting, with different floors and a nice rooftop. The staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful. Breakfast included on the third floor every morning was a great way to start the day.

Everything is what I need and want.

The hostel was clean, organized, and felt very safe. I loved that my bunk had its own lock and private space. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The top floor bar, lounge, and outdoor patio were great places to hang out and meet other travelers. The location was perfect, within walking distance of historical sites, restaurants, and shops. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Barrio Downtown.

Despite the positive experience, there were a few downsides. I could hear noise from outside my window, so earplugs are recommended.

The room I stayed in, called the Ajolote suite, was clean, comfortable, and spacious. I loved the decor and the fact that I had access to Netflix. the shower was great, although the hot and cold symbols were reversed, which was a bit confusing. the hostel's location was central, making it convenient to explore the city. the best part was the convenient water dispensers on each floor. I would highly recommend staying at Barrio Downtown.

The location was perfect, with easy access to historical sites, delicious food, and safe walking areas. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my entire stay.

We recently stayed at a hostel downtown and had an exceptional experience. the sleeping pods were the best we've ever encountered, providing privacy, comfort, and even a little area to hang clothes. the clean and spacious bathrooms had shampoo and towels provided. the location was convenient and safe, with easy access to the city. We also enjoyed the social atmosphere, with a famous taqueria right next door and plenty of social events in the hostel. the facilities were top-notch, including a cozy bar, rooftop terrace with hammocks, and a fantastic co-working space. We've already booked our third stay and would gladly return again.

I recently stayed at Barrio Downtown for a few nights as a solo traveler. The hostel had a very new and stylish complex, with everything I needed. The showers had great pressure and hot water, and the bed was nice and comfortable. The staff were lovely and there were great activities in the evenings, including walking tours. The location was excellent, and the facility was beautiful and inviting. The included breakfast on the third floor was delicious, and there was a relaxing terrace on the roof. one of the best hostels I've stayed in!

I highly recommend this hostel.
