I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was amazing - right on the beach and within walking distance to the boardwalk. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from exchanging our big bills to giving us tips on booking excursions. The hotel facilities were great, with a nice pool area and a large refrigerator in the room. The included continental breakfast was a nice touch, and I loved that filtered water was readily available. this hotel offered a cheap and convenient option for enjoying the beach and exploring the city.

Additionally, the hotel grounds were always clean and the pool was sparkling clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of TV channels, both American and Mexican. On top of that, we received complimentary breakfast vouchers for a continental breakfast.

The ocean water was warm, around 82 degrees Fahrenheit, and while it was a bit murky due to the rainy season, there are other areas nearby where you can snorkel and find clear water. Great location near the lively Malecon and Romantic Zone. Clean pool and rooms with beautiful ocean views. Helpful and friendly staff. Close proximity to grocery store and restaurants. Enjoyed the whale watching and zip line tours.

Poor quality pillows and a hard bed. Beach chairs had bird droppings/stains.

I recently stayed at El Pescador and had a fantastic time. The staff was friendly and attentive, and surprisingly, the food exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location, right on the beach, offered a quieter atmosphere compared to the busy Malacon area. The old architecture added charm, and the open-air view from the spacious hall-landing area was breathtaking. The room was comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, a bank, and a bus line within walking distance. a great experience at a reasonable price. I would definitely return.
