Staying at Hacienda Jurica was like stepping into a charming time capsule where modern luxury meets colonial charm! I felt like I was on a leisurely vacation in the countryside, yet the staff were always on point like they were watching a thrilling game of soccer! The swimming pool, with its picturesque waterfall, was my go-to for relaxation. Just imagine lounging there, sipping a cocktail as the sounds of laughter from the kids echoed like a joyful serenade! The meals? Oh, don't even get me started on the delightful breakfast buffet. It was so impressive that I found myself eyeing second helpings like a kid in a candy store at a birthday party! And how can I forget the beautiful gardens? It was the peace of a countryside retreat with the conveniences of modern life! What a perfect combo!

Rooms felt a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms, which could use some improvements. Also, the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the city center, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

The brekkie was lekker, especially the fresh blue tortillas! Staff were so friendly, always up for a chat. Had a jol at the pool, perfect for the kids to splash about. The gardens were stunning, so peaceful!

Only downside was the room felt a bit outdated, needs a little touch-up.

The spa and wellness center was a perfect retreat after a long day! I loved lounging by the outdoor swimming pool while soaking up the sun. The full body massage was rejuvenating and just what I needed to unwind!

The plumbing issues in the bathrooms, particularly with clogged washbasins that forced me to brush my teeth in a public restroom, detracted significantly from my experience.

The outdoor pool was impressive, offering a spacious area for relaxation, and the room had a decent layout with two beds that were comfortable enough for a family stay.

However, the bathrooms in many rooms, including ours, had persistent plumbing issues. The washbasins and showers were often clogged, leading to standing water that was less than pleasant. On top of that, during our stay, I even had to brush my teeth in a public restroom due to the dirty state of our washbasin. The overall quality of the rooms seemed average, and it appears there are renovations underway, but I’d expect a bit more for the price point given.

hacienda jurica by brisas is nestled in lush surroundings, just perfect for unwinding. the facilities were great, and the breakfast was delicious. i loved the friendly staff who made us feel at home. the location had lovely vegetation and was filled with singing birds, creating a peaceful atmosphere.
