It was just a reliable pick for a short staycation in Oaxaca with good value. The staff was really friendly and offered us a great recommendation for a local restaurant that was a hidden gem. Make sure to ask for room options with better light if you're not a fan of dark spaces.

my stay in oaxaca was amazing, and casa barrocco exceeded my expectations. the location was perfect, just steps away from charming cafes and stunning architecture, allowing for leisurely strolls. the room was clean and comfortable, making my time there truly enjoyable.

the hot water took too long to come.

The bathroom was cramped and poorly designed, making it difficult to shower without flooding!!! Internet coverage was lacking in the room, requiring trips to public areas!!! Poorly functioning locks and an ignorable courtyard definitely require attention!!!

The location was perfect, walking distance to everything with amazing cafes across the road. Friendly, helpful staff made our stay enjoyable! !

I was disappointed as the so-called deluxe room is smaller than standard with a cramped bathroom,, and pricing inconsistencies dampened the experience.

We recently spent 4 nights in a Deluxe King Room at Hotel Casa Barrocco. The room was clean and spacious, featuring air-conditioning and a nice flat-screen TV. Its location was perfect for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance. The room had a lovely view and a comfortable bed, making our stay enjoyable.

disappointed by the overall space when I expected more. However, the location was fantastic for walking to nearby attractions, and the building itself was charming and well-maintained. I did appreciate the daily cleaning, but the service could improve in some areas.

staying here was a treat as we could easily stroll to the zocalo and enjoy the colorful atmosphere or have a delicious breakfast just a few steps away at boulenc, making our weekend exploration so much more enjoyable.

What a grand location! Right in the heart of Oaxaca, surrounded by mighty cafés and shops. The air-conditioning was bliss, especially in the heat. Just wished for a fridge in the room. it would’ve made keeping drinks cool easier. Still, the charm of the place won me over!

this hotel was super charming, the building has that cool colonial vibe and a nice quiet courtyard to chill. location is amazin, tons of quality restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. loved that they had air-con in the room, which is not common in heritage places. the daily cleaning was on point too, always made sure bins and towels were fresh.

I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and it was pretty charming! The building has this cool historic vibe, and the furniture matched the cozy atmosphere. Super clean with daily room service. The shower space was alright, but the bathroom could be a tad bigger. Really enjoyed how close it was to everything. The air conditioning worked great! Not too noisy at night, which was a plus.

The colonial building had this beautiful quiet courtyard where we would sip coffee in the mornings, felt like paradise. Location was spot on with fantastic restaurants just a short walk away, we found this great little spot that served the best mole I ever had.
