The retro vibe of the motel was really cool, reminding me of old roadside motels from the past. However, as soon as I stepped into the room, I was blown away. the interior design was top-notch and could easily compete with a fancy NYC hotel. It had everything my wife and I needed, and even more. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered, including a mini fridge and a microwave. the location of the motel was also convenient, being just a short drive away from the summer solstice wine festival that we came to Amherst for.

One thing we found a bit uncomfortable was the cold temperature in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a small heater in there, especially during the cold January nights.

We were traveling around the Southern States for three weeks and I wanted to try a variety of accommodations, including a traditional motel. Amherst Inn was the cleanest out of all the places we stayed at. The room was spotless and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom supplies were excellent, and we loved the soap and shampoo. The little snacks basket and variety of reading material were a nice surprise. The owners were friendly and helpful.

The mini fridge and microwave in the room were convenient. The inn's location near Food Lion and Vito's pizza made it even better. As bike riders, we loved the convenient location and enjoyed the outside seating area. The Inn Keeper's were kind and helpful, providing us with everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with an excellent bed and attractive decor. We also appreciated the complimentary grab and go breakfast pastries and drinks.

Clean, nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Room small for 5 people, had to rearrange furniture for rollaway bed. Musty odor, snacks basket and bathroom supplies were nice. Great for 2 people. Reminded of 50-60s motels. Interior like a 4-star NYC hotel. Wife impressed. Friendly staff. Immaculate and charmingly decorated. Would stay again. Family in the area.

We were a little hesitant when we saw the motel from the outside, but once we stepped into our room at Amherst Inn, we were blown away. The room was absolutely gorgeous, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. Even the bathroom was spotless. We will definitely be returning when we visit the Amherst area again.
