The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from the center and the beautiful lake. Although a bit far from the bus station, transportation to Chetumal and even a part of Belize was easily accessible. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with a map of the city and explaining everything in detail. The communal fridge was also a nice feature, and there were bikes available for rent.

I had a wonderful stay at Hacienda Bacalar for 3 nights. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to the main restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed a hot shower every day and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they offered tours, although I didn't have a chance to try them. a great experience.
