We stayed at the Santiago Hotel Boutique during our honeymoon and it was the best hotel we stayed at during our 4 weeks of travel. Jan and Rita, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and spent time answering all our questions. The hotel is nicely renovated and very clean. Our superior suite with a jacuzzi was amazing. We also enjoyed a fantastic cooking class with Ramon, which gave us a rich insight into the local Mexican kitchen. our stay was perfect and we cannot thank them enough.

The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, always available to assist. We enjoyed the excellent food in the restaurant, with reasonable prices. The hotel's location was a great advantage, as it was within walking distance to the town center, making it easy to explore Merida. The hotel also served as a perfect starting point for visiting nearby attractions such as beaches and Maya sites.

There were a few minor inconveniences such as a lack of clothes hanging space in the room. However, these were easily overlooked compared to the overall positive experience.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Jan, one of the owners, provided us with great suggestions on what to see and where to eat, ensuring we had an amazing Merida experience. The hotel's restaurant and bar were also excellent, with a beautiful patio area to enjoy our meals and drinks.

The location was convenient, just a few blocks from the Cathedral, and the owners spoke both English and Spanish fluently. The WiFi was reliable, and overall, we highly recommend this hotel.
