We had a delightful stay at a beautiful colonial building in the heart of the city. the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. the hotel has been lovingly restored to retain all its original 1700s features, woodwork, and architecture, which added to its charm. the owners, who have been running the hotel for generations, were part of the magic that surrounded our stay. the central location of the hotel, right on the plaza, allowed us to immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Oaxaca city. we highly recommend Monte Alban - Solo Adultos for a memorable experience.

I absolutely loved the rustic charm of this historic hotel. The building, dating back to the 19th century, has so much character and the interior courtyard with stone columns and skylight is breathtaking. The rooms are comfortable, with modern bathrooms and plenty of hot water. The location couldn't be better, right on the zocalo , with the cathedral facing it. The hotel is also conveniently located near a tour agency that offers affordable day trips to explore the surrounding area.

The window in our room had no view to the outside, which was disappointing. the lighting in the room was dim and there were no hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom.

The hotel's location on the square opposite the cathedral and the Zocalo was perfect, as it was within walking distance of most attractions and the markets in the south of the city. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was always someone at the desk to assist.
