I had a great stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding, with no musty smell that is common in tropical hotels. The hotel facilities were impressive, with a marbled-out space and very comfortable rooms. The made-to-order breakfast was a highlight, with delicious Mexican traditional dishes cooked with care and knowledge. The staff, especially Senor Pascual at the reception desk and Senor Juan Jesus at the breakfast cafe, were exceptional and provided excellent service.

The location couldn't have been better for our New Year's stay. We were just a short walk from the main attractions and had easy access to shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, the room was clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.

There were a couple of downsides to our experience. there was occasional noise from the street outside, which made it difficult to sleep at times.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the main road north and south of the city. It was a short walk to the Malacon and the Romantic Zone, and there were shops and restaurants nearby. the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel lacked Mexican charm and felt like it could be in any city. the WiFi in the room was sometimes weak, and there was noise from pigeons outside the window.

The jacuzzi in the bathroom was a wonderful touch, providing a relaxing experience during our stay. We also appreciated the close proximity to the beach and the great restaurants on the nearby island. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious, offering a variety of hot items and fresh orange juice. The staff, both at check-in and during breakfast, were all friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located near the vibrant tourist area that showcases the flea market, pretty island in the river, and plenty of places to eat. You can easily walk to everything. The rooms are fantastic with excellent air conditioning that chills you. The bathroom is modern, clean, and functional. The service is professional and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast area. The breakfast is included and tasty. You can soak in the views from the roof deck, even though there is no bar or food service on the deck.

The ice machine is missing in the hotel that may not be a big issue for many guests.

The staff were very helpful and happy. An umbrella was always available when needed. Great breakfasts on the veranda with a good variety to choose from. Convenient location in the heart of the city, close to the beach, market, shops, and restaurants.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to Isla Cuale and the arts and crafts market by the restroom window. You can also easily reach the malecon and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, with great bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, making you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious, with various options to choose from.

The rooftop area is a bit disappointing, with limited space for sunbathing.

The value for money at Hotel Porto Allegro was excellent. The room was comfortable with a spacious bed and a nice shower. The location was perfect, just 2 blocks away from the seashore and close to downtown and the cathedral. The staff were helpful, polite, and provided complimentary water and coffee, which was much appreciated. The nightly coffee service was a pleasant surprise and should be extended until 7 am.

The morning meal could have been improved.
