We recently stayed at Hotel Santa Regina for a few days during our trip to Guanajuato. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Basilica and within 500m of all other attractions. Despite some language barriers at the front desk, they were still able to accommodate our early checkout and even scheduled a taxi for us. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The complimentary breakfast at their partner hotel, Hotel Don Lucas, was absolutely wonderful with a variety of delicious options. The staff was friendly and respectful, and we also booked a great city tour through them.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect - right in the center of everything. I could easily explore the historical sites and attractions, as they were all within walking distance. The room was basic but very clean, and I loved having a balcony with a view overlooking Pipila. The main bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast included at the sister property was delicious!

All was well, no complaints.

The location of this hotel is excellent - just a few steps away from the main attractions and plenty of restaurants. We were able to easily walk to all the sights in the center of the city. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were always friendly and willing to help. The basic amenities in the rooms were satisfactory, and we found the rooms to be colder than the outside, which was uncomfortable in winter. However, the staff promptly provided extra blankets upon request.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was pleasant, with one small aspect that could be improved - the lighting in the rooms. The rooms seemed a bit dark and lacked sufficient lighting.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. We were able to easily explore all the nearby attractions such as the Mercado Hidalgo, Callejon De Beso, and the cathedral. Additionally, the hotel offered guided tours which were convenient and informative. We loved being able to have a local show us around and learn more about the city.

If you want a panoramic view of the city, don't miss the nearby Al Pipila, which you can reach by taking the funicular. The breakfast provided at their sister hotel was exceptional.

If you walk in any direction, you will come across beautiful architecture, museums, and lovely cafes. The breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious, and the service is friendly and always available. Plus, the rooms are spacious and come with everything you need for a relaxing stay, such as comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

The hotel is situated at the entrance of a tunnel which can make it quite noisy, even during the night.
