A Convenient and Affordable Stay at Howard Johnson Calle Real

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near the bustling plaza during my visit to Morelia. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it provided easy access to the shops and restaurants in the area. What impressed me the most was the excellent value I received compared to other hotels right on the plaza.

Friendly and helpful staff, made me feel safe and reassured as a solo traveler. Convenient location within walking distance to popular attractions and shopping areas.- Clean and comfortable rooms with minimal noise disturbance

Poor internet connection, struggled to get a reliable signal throughout my stay. Inconsistent maid service, only received excellent service on the first day.

We loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of Morelia's historic center. We could easily walk to the plaza, churches, and all the shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself had a charming and old-fashioned vibe, with a beautiful lobby and restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the toiletries we needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. One of the best parts was the free parking, which is a rare find in this area. we had a wonderful experience at Howard Johnson.

We loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of the historic district. The garden view from our room was stunning, and we were only steps away from many historical sites. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large walk-in shower in the bathroom. The staff were helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had a quiet room and providing bottled water during our stay.

Check-in took longer than expected, causing a bit of frustration upon arrival.

During my Xmas holiday, I appreciated the free chocolate candy and hot apple cider offered at the hotel lobby. the location was walkable to many attractions including shops and restaurants. the room was spacious and clean.

The staff wasn’t helpful, there was no flexibility with the check-in time, even though I arrived a bit earlier, they didn't make an effort to accommodate me sooner. the hotel was old and the decor was dated.

This hotel offers great value for money with prices that won't break the bank. It is located directly at the plaza, making it convenient for exploring the historic centre of the city. The staff provides excellent service with attention to detail, and the basic amenities in the rooms include AC and breakfast included. Plus, the breakfast is delicious with chef-made omelets if desired.

The staff were extremely helpful in setting up tours for us and even though not all of them spoke English, they made the effort to communicate with us and provide translations. The location of the hotel was also great, with an easy walk to the plaza, church, and lots of shopping in the area. Morelia is a beautiful old city and we felt safe exploring it. The hotel itself was charming and quaint, especially the lobby/restaurant area. We highly recommend staying here!

I recently stayed at a hotel in Morelia and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, right on the main street of the centro area. It was an easy walk to the plaza, churches, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel itself was very comfortable and had a charming lobby and restaurant. I especially loved the free parking, which can be tricky to find in the historic center. I think this was the best hotel I've stayed at in Morelia.
