kin balam was a fantastic surprise during this carnival. the jungle location exceeded my expectations. cosy cabins, good bedding, cool fan, and even safes in the room. clean pool, daily room cleaning, and hot showers. nearby restaurant and great value for money. highly recommend!

No umbrellas for the rainy days.

The location of the hotel is great for visiting the nearby ruins as you can easily reach them by collectivo from just outside reception. Although the hotel is a bit far from the town, it is nice to be in the jungle and surrounded by the forest. the staff is helpful and the bungalow rooms are basic but comfortable.

The shower is not practical as there is nowhere to put stuff.

The pool was refreshing and the staff was incredibly friendly. The hammock area was a great place to relax, and the cleanliness of the dorms impressed us. The towels and bed linen were of high quality, and the overall design of the place was beautiful. The best part was the location – it was close to the Palenque ruins and we could even hear the howler monkeys!

The kitchen facilities are lacking and can be quite messy, making it difficult for guests to prepare their meals properly.

We had a delightful stay at a cozy jungle retreat. The cabanas were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the jungle ambiance with sounds of monkeys and birds. The location was perfect, just a short ride to the city and within walking distance of the Palenque ruins. The pool added a touch of paradise to our stay. a fantastic experience.

The dorms have normal beds, a garden view, and a guest kitchen. The location is close to the ruins and eco park. The cabanas are comfortable, with a nice pool and beautiful surroundings. The bathrooms are clean and there is good vegetarian food at the restaurant.

Our stay at Cabanas Kin Balam was exceptional. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily visit the national park and ruins within just 25 minutes. We loved the authentic Cabana experience, feeling like we were truly immersed in the jungle. The cleanliness and comfort of our Cabana, along with the balcony, made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite the language barrier, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The unexpected bonus of having Wifi in our room was a pleasant surprise.
