Stayed at a lovely beachfront resort with stunning ocean view room near Las Olas. the new infinity pool was fantastic, and El Fuego restaurant served the most delicious octopus. the beach pool area offered a peaceful retreat, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We received a handmade gift for our anniversary and enjoyed the daily breakfast specials with a view. Close to the action but quiet, the beds were incredibly comfortable.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Mahekal. The friendly staff was always ready to help and made us feel welcome. The location was fantastic, with beautiful beaches and great shopping and dining options within walking distance. The large patio with hammocks in each room was a unique and delightful feature. The pools were also fantastic, and we enjoyed lounging in the open-air spaces. it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

I had a fantastic stay at a beachfront resort in Playa del Carmen. The location was at its best, with its own beautiful beach and just down the block from all the shops, restaurants, and fun bars in the heart of the city. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with clean and comfortable rooms that were turned down twice a day. The lovely grounds were well-kept and landscaped, and I enjoyed seeing the friendly animal visitors like lizards and iguanas. The staff were amazing, providing excellent service and making me feel at home throughout my stay.

Everything was spot on and there were no negative aspects to mention.

You’ll be able to find this hidden jewel away from the noisy beaches in a central location, a stone throw distance to the shopping area, yet nestled in a serene environment that will allow you to relax. The room was nothing extraordinary, but functional, and well set up bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, making you feel like a VIP. The breakfast was brilliant, with plenty of choices, and the atmosphere on the resort was unforgettable.

It's a shame this peaceful resort doesn't have a Karaoke connection or Casino, which would have been a welcome addition to the hotel's offering.

We loved this place! It is located in a perfect spot, on a street adjacent to the beach, in a walking distance to everything and yet, it's very quiet and peaceful. The service is excellent and the staff, including the one on the reception desk, is always in a great mood and ready to make your every request happen. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, from a comfortable bed to all the necessary amenities such as a mini-bar and an in-room safe.
