Our stay at Mapache Hostel & Camping was great! The location was perfect, close to the center and the beach. The tipi room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable. We had a really good time and met a great mix of people. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us the best recommendations to explore the island. The atmosphere was chill and the vibes were good. The activities they offered, like the bioluminescence planktons, were truly amazing. The breakfast provided was nice and the facilities were clean.

One minor drawback was that there were not enough toilets. We also noticed that there was construction going on for a cover over the tents, but our tent got flooded twice before that.

The bunk beds are very close to each other, with hardly any space in between. Occasional water supply issues, which can be inconvenient and affect cleanliness

I recently stayed at Mapache Hostel & Camping for a short trip and it was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, the city center, and the boat. They have a great selection of activities that they can help you book, and they even have bikes available for rent. The atmosphere at the hostel is warm and friendly, making you feel like part of a family. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and excellent AC. The breakfast options were varied, and the kitchen was kept clean. the hostel provided a comfortable and inclusive environment.

I had an incredible time at a hostel in Isla Holbox. the staff, especially Gina and Galleta, were amazing. the hostel had a beautiful garden and a common area to socialize, as well as hammocks for relaxation. the beds were comfortable and private with curtains. I met wonderful people and enjoyed a simple breakfast of toast, cereal, and fruit. It truly exceeded my expectations!

I recently stayed at a great little hostel in Holbox for a week. The staff at Mapache Hostel & Camping were incredibly friendly and helpful. I stayed in one of their spacious and comfortable tipis, equipped with fans, mosquito nets, and a plug-in repellent. The hostel had clean toilets and showers with always hot water. The breakfast provided had a nice variety of cereals, bread, fruit, and eggs. The whole hostel had a lovely chilled vibe with a beautiful garden and plenty of places to socialize. They even had activities planned for every day. I would definitely return!
