The staff provided exceptional service and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast by the river was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We also appreciated the free upgrade to a more luxurious suite. Highly recommend this place for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Situated in the heart of the old town, this hotel offers a unique experience by being located right along the river. the breakfast options are delicious and can be enjoyed either on the back terrace overlooking the river or in the front courtyard by the pool. the staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcomed and well taken care of during your stay.

I recently stayed at Garlands Del Rio for a week-long vacation. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and tranquil atmosphere. The quirky architecture and decor added a charming touch, and I loved that the hotel backed onto a peaceful river. The breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river while dining. The staff was always eager to assist, whether it was making dinner reservations or providing bandages after a sidewalk mishap. I can't wait to return and experience a different room each time!

Thin walls made sleeping difficult.

You can't go wrong staying in this Mexican oasis located by the river in the heart of downtown. It offers breathtaking views of the river, and you'll be delighted to hear the Jazz music from the restaurant across the river. The staff provides first-class service and attention to detail goes above and beyond. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable, clean beds, and voluminous sparkling bathrooms. You'll enjoy the honor system bar and a continental breakfast with an option to buy some from the menu.

Some rooms do not have an ocean view.

Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. the rooms were clean and cozy, plus the free breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit. the location was very convenient, close to many local shops and restaurants.

Some of the common areas were a bit cluttered, but not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Staying at this charming hotel in the older area of PV was such a delight. The location was perfect, situated on the patio by the river, giving it a romantic and tranquil ambiance. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, taking in the view. The facilities were well-maintained, and my room had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.

I did find that some rooms were smaller than others, despite paying the same price.

I gotta say, the value for money at this place was fantastic. The room I stayed in, the countess room, was like a dream. Super comfy bed, clean and elegant bathroom, and that dome ceiling made me feel like royalty. The location was spot-on, just a short walk to the beach and close to some great food spots. And the staff? Absolutely top-notch. They were so helpful, giving us great recommendations and making us feel secure and taken care of.

Breakfast delights, but a bit more milk for the coffee would've been nice.
