The hotel has a very friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast is weak, and the pool was often dirty.

Absolutely LOVED the staff and location. Jade, Erick, and Maggie were super polite and helpful. The property is literally right next to 5th Avenue, where most of the action is. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Great overall experience! 🌟

During our 5-night stay, we loved the fantastic location just a short walk from the bustling 5th Avenue. The front desk team was incredibly helpful. they provided us with a discount coupon for a nearby restaurant that we really enjoyed. Our room was cozy and had a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard, and we appreciated the good hot water and air conditioning throughout our visit.

having previously visited playa del carmen, my stay at riviera Caribe maya truly exceeded my expectations during this relaxing holiday. the cozy room was a notable highlight, particularly enjoying the great hot water and pressure in the shower. it's a charming spot that made our experience even better with easy access to nearby taco stands and simple local shops.

So many issues need addressing!!! No drinking water provided, bathrooms need serious repairs, and the hallway noise is unbearable!!! Renovations lead to unpleasant smells and constant disruptions!!! Getting woken up by dragging sun-beds at 7 am is not ideal!!!

The showers offered amazing hot water and strong pressure, making them a highlight of my stay.

The hotel desperately needs maintenance. many simple items were broken and in disrepair, affecting overall comfort.

Access to the pool from our room was, like, the best thing ever! Super chill vibe, and the staff was so, like, friendly! Gerardo was a total sweetheart helping us out. The breakfast was tasty, though kinda basic. We totally loved our stay, but it would be awesome if they had better pillows!

i was quite drawn to the claim of plush amenities, yet i found my room with windows facing a busy street, making any peace impossible. absolutley no water bottles provided, how inconsiderate! after such trouble, you’d think they’d throw in an upgrade or complimentary cocktail, but no, just more noise. unsatisfactory indeed.

Soundproofing is practically non-existent!!! The renovations make for a chaotic stay with constant noise and unpleasant smells!!! Staff gatherings in the hallways at early hours could certainly be adjusted!!!

I stayed in a Double Room with Balcony. The room was comfy but had a pretty hard bed. The mini-fridge was nice, and the shower had awesome hot water and pressure! Also, the decor was cute with Mayan paintings. The air conditioning gave us trouble at first but they fixed it right away, which was cool. I wish the pillows were better though. It wasn't a total dealbreaker since we were out exploring most of the time.
