The location of the hotel was fantastic, right next to Fifth Avenue, providing easy access to the beach, ferry services, and a variety of food and shopping options. The rooftop pool offered incredible views and was a great place to relax. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a super big and comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick, allowing for an early check-in. The hotel had nice facilities, including a rooftop bar and restaurant.

One negative aspect was that in the roof garden, too many day passes were sold, which made it crowded and sometimes difficult to find a spot.

I recently stayed at The Fives Downtown Hotel in beautiful Playa del Carmen for a quick getaway. The location was perfect, just a short walk to 5th Ave. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel special and the rooftop pool was absolutely amazing, with live music and delicious food and drinks.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, with its perfect location close to all the shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue. The staff were wonderful, very responsive, and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with nice linens and Molton Brown toiletries. The hotel facilities, including the rooftop bar and PuroBeach, were amazing. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the brie salad and calamari salad.

During my stay, I encountered a minor inconvenience with the breakfast. Although I had booked a room with breakfast included, the receptionist couldn't find my reservation initially.

Had a great Xmas stay! Loved how clean the rooms and hallways were - they even had an espresso machine in the room! the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially at the rooftop pool area. Their food was amazing! Location was perfect as it was walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants. We opted out of an all-inclusive resort, but the two complementary facts offered here made us feel like it was included: the hotel's smell was divine, and the pool had a great view of the town.

The pool staff seemed a bit stiff and formal, which made it harder to have a fun time.
